Magnum Boat Lifts offers the E-Gear as an optional drive unit on the CBX, S, HD and side mounted lines of boat lifts.  The E-Gear offers smooth, quiet, maintenance-free operation.  There are no belts to tighten or gears to grease.

It is What is on the Inside that Counts

The E-Gear differs from the competition in a couple of ways.  First and foremost it is a purpose built unit; meaning it was designed and built solely for use on boat lifts.  It was not designed for use on grain elevators or irrigation systems and then applied to a built lift.  Secondly, the Bull Gear used in the E-Gear is 12 inches in diameter as compared to the 5.25 inch gear used in our closest competitor's unit.  By virtue of this larger gear, with its high mechanical advantage, the E-Gear creates a system that will not back drift or lower the boat on its own accord.

With its design and compact size, extending only 6 inches over the dock, the E-Gear is ideal for narrow docks or in a marina setting.  Additionally, the motor is positioned above the cable drum, away from high water and is the highest point of the boat lift structure.  The motors are operated by manual drum switches with radio remote controls available as an option.
